First Nations Tourism
Research & Innovation Hub

Working in partnership with QTIC, University of Queensland, and Griffith University.

Recognising First Nations tourism is at the heart of Queensland’s tourism industry, the initial report recommends underpinning future First Nations tourism policies with the Larrakia Principles and the Triple Bottom Line to ensure that tourism policies are appropriately scaffolded with strong First Nations foundations to promote the ongoing development and implementation of a sustainable Queensland First Nations tourism sector.

DESTINATION IQ

Now in its 11th iteration, QTIC's Destination IQ 2023, which is proudly supported by the Queensland Government and Tourism and Events Queensland, is Queensland's foremost annual First Nation tourism conference.

 

Delegates and industry professionals from all backgrounds and from across the state gather to discuss opportunities, hear the latest trends and recognise First Nations tourism achievements.
